Dressing well is critical to me. When I am dressed well, it’s like I’m a different person.
Clothes are an extension of the skin and mind, and they are how we present ourselves to the world. Equally as important, our choice in clothing speaks about the care we have for ourselves.
There are not so many well dressed people in the world unfortunately. I sometimes am in the tech world and it’s a total disaster.
When I take the time to consider the fabrics and fits of the clothes I am putting on my body, it’s a form of self-care.
Learning about different styles from around the world is fun.
Having custom clothes made is also great, and doesn’t have to be expensive if you know where to look.
My style is usually a combination of formal enough to go an opera and comfortable enough to practice yoga/meditation in the same outfit. I like a lot of earthy colors - burgundy, saffron, indigo, jade, anthracite.
